Yes. You need to keep data roaming turned on for your travel eSIM to connect to local networks while abroad. Without roaming enabled, your eSIM won’t be able to access data.

To avoid unexpected charges from your regular carrier, we recommend turning off roaming on your primary (home) SIM while keeping it enabled on your travel eSIM.
